CS2 StatTrak™ vs Souvenir Skins

Both are special variants of a base skin, but they're very different.

StatTrak™

• Has a kill counter that ticks up while you use the weapon.
• Comes from cases (the gold "StatTrak" version of case skins).
• Usually costs more than the non-StatTrak version of the same wear.
• The counter resets to 0 if you trade it; high counters can add novelty value.

Souvenir

• Dropped during pro tournaments from Souvenir Packages.
• Carry gold tournament stickers of teams/players from that event.
• Specific sticker combos and player autographs can make a Souvenir extremely valuable.
• Souvenirs are never StatTrak, and vice-versa.

Rule of thumb: StatTrak = case + kill counter; Souvenir = tournament drop + gold stickers.
